Some more photo of japan
Here are few more photos of our trip in Japan, mostly taken before my brother's wedding but some were taken after.. is it coincident that most of the photo involves food? They are not in any order at the moment, so I'll just explain it as I go.
This photo was taken when Kyoko's (my sister in law) family came over to see our family, sort of a formal occasion, and took place exactly week before the wedding. Very lovely family.
This I think was taken on one of the last night at our house.. we ordered sushi and we all got together and ate together, unfortunately my brother Shuya and his wife Kunie could only come after most of us finished eating but we still got to talk a bit. Sushi was great and Shiori had fun choosing different Sushi. She is pretty good at trying new ones and she loves salmon roe.
This was also taken after the wedding, we decided to have a BBQ since my mom and sister doesn't eat meat much, and my father shouldn't be eating much meat.. they don't cook red meat all that much.. I love BBQ in Japan, and since Tsuyoshi and my other brother Seiji was there.. we finally outnumbered non meat eating people to have BBQ at home. I know Tsuyoshi was pretty happy.. he said it's been a long time he had beef at home. I know that my mom was very happy to be serving something that we all enjoy eating. I know my father was happy, although he really shouldn't eat too much beef.. I don't think my sister was too keen but she cooked separate meal all together for herself and my mom.
Shiori playing with her cousin Ryoto.. I think she is wither superman, batman, plane, or some other flying object.
Shiori with her great grandmother at her shop. It was great seeing her.. we tried to visit her as much as we could.
Shiori playing with fireworks with Ryoto and Yuuki. It is still fine to do fireworks in Japan and it's quite big during summer month.. you can buy sets anywhere and I bought one so that Shiori could enjoy it.. now that we can't do it in Canberra anymore.
My brother Tsuyoshi and Kyoko couple of days before the wedding. Looking pretty relaxed.
Shiori with her cousins.. looking pretty relaxed.
Shiori holding one of Japanese sweets.. it was delicious.
This was taken by Shiori.. of us eating my favourite food.. Okonomiyaki. I wonder if I took actual photo of Okonomi yaki.. I had it maybe 4 times? It wasn't enough, I could eat it for every meal of the day and be very content.
